Many felt that Tollywood stars and makers are conveniently ignoring talented Telugu girls just for the craze they have for Mumbai girls. Esha Rebba speaking to scribes after the shocking suicide of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput decided to expose nepotism in Tollywood.
Esha said ‘Tollywood has nepotism. I do not say there is no nepotism in Tollywood. Due to a filmi background, one gets offers very easily while others without background struggles. However, in my view filmi background alone does not guarantee success. It should be backed up with talent or else all the powerful filmi background will go for a toss. If people without filmi background make use of the opportunities they get, they will get good recognition”
Esha recently featured along with Chiranjeevi in an awareness program asking people to wear masks during corona crisis times.
