On the last day of the winter sessions, Jagan announced the idea of three capitals. A few days later the GN Rao committee its findings on the capital issue and Urban development of Andhra Pradesh.
GN Rao’s findings and Jagan’s views were exactly matching one to one. This has raised many eyebrows. The opposition alleged that GN Rao had to write the question paper after looking into Jaga’s answer paper. Indirectly hinting that GN Rao’s findings are manipulated and the report was drafted as per Jagan’s wish.
On the other hand, many people were surprised as to why Jagan had to make open up on the idea of three capitals as anyways the report was going to come out on the same lines.
But what Telugurajyam is guessing about this is Jagan intentionally did this. He wanted to test the waters before the report came. Had there been more opposition to the idea of three capitals than expected, the report would have been submitted with totally different findings.
The government took a quick pulse after the announcement of the idea of three capitals. The response was overwhelming and the opposition parties were forced on to back foot.
the finding for a quick pulse check gave the confidence to submit the report with the findings on the lines of Jagan’s idea.
