Basavatarakam cancer hospital found by Sr NTR has been curing patients for many decades. On the eve of the hospital completing 20 years of its journey, Natasimha Balakrishna, his son speaking to scribes shared the secrets of the hospital. He thanked the doctors and donors for playing an important role in the functioning of the hospital.
He said ‘Father got devastated on the day when mother passed away due to dreaded cancer. At that time he decided to construct a hospital to treat cancer patients. It is the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Center. The hospital which has a capacity of 500 beds and 1500 staff, treated more than 2.5 lakhs, cancer patients. I thank all the donors, medical staff, governments, officials and fans for supporting us in our journey”
