Lambasting TDP party for playing cheap politics during the tough time of COVID 19 pandemic, Minister’s for Civil Supplies Kodali Venkateswara Rao (Nani) emphasized that every ration cardholder in the state will receive the ration.
Speaking to media here on Tuesday the Minister said that in the next two to three days ration will be supplied to all beneficiaries.
Chandrababu Naidu and his henchmen are trying to defame village volunteers who are working hard under adverse conditions.
To prevent the virus spread the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered to issue the ration without taking fingerprints, he said and added that people are lining up at ration shops from 6 am to 11 am in the wake of a lockdown. It takes time to weigh dal, sugar, and rice for every beneficiary and which is why the dealers are able to distribute ration to only 20 people in an hour.
The Minister asserted that the ration shops will remain open until the last beneficiary receives the ration. He lambasted on those who commented on village volunteers earlier and now asking why volunteers are not door delivering ration at the house.
For the same, Minister said that the government has assured to door deliver the ration which started in Srikakulam and should have been implemented across the state by August. But due to coronavirus, we have shifted to old system which is the standard practice. The volunteers have other things to do on the pandemic front, he said.
However, the village volunteers are working with the health department and surveying every house on a day to day basis. Minister lambasted on TDP leaders Bonda Umamaheswar Rao and Somireddy who have earlier tried to defame the village volunteers and now playing cheap politics.
Naidu afraid of the virus is hiding in the home at Hyderabad.
