The removal of NTR’s statute in Kavali town in Nellore district created a huge controversy. A TDP leader installed the NTR statue opposite the Malakshmamma Temple place in Musunooru two years back. A YSRCP MLA removed NTR statue and tried to install YSR statue inplace of it.
TDP leaders started protesting over the removal of NTR sattue. TDP leaders Kotam Reddy Srinvasulu Reddy fired on the ruling YSRCP leaders and MLAs.
NTR son Balakrishna,Hindupur MLA reacted to the removal of NTR statue. He called Kavali MLA Ramireddy Pratap Kumar Reddy and questioned about the statue. YSRCP MLA Rami Reddy promised Balakrishna that the administration is bringing new NTR bronze statue from Rajamundry and would be installed in the same place.
Balakarishna congratulated MLA Ramireddy and thus the controversy has been resolved in an amicable manner.
