YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy created a sensation by sweeping the recently held general elections. The crushing defeat of the ruling TDP headed by Chandra Babu Naidu came as a shock to even the national media and the die-hard supports of Jagan.
He started leaving his own mark in the government policies and decisions. He surprised all by deciding to form three capitals and also introduce various schemes like Amma Vodi etc.
He decided to go for municipal elections and win all the seats. But all his fans got dashed as coronavirus attacked the country and state and the then State Election Commissioner postponing the elections.
After the coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown, Jagan got another shock in the form of a deadly poisonous gas leak in LG.Polymers. This seems to be sounding a death knell to Jagan and the ruling party as they are gearing up for the local elections by lifting the lockdown gradually.
Jagan is now experiencing scares and the prospect of a shock defeat as people are unhappy with his decision over LG.Polymers. This washed away all the goodwill generated in the form of helping the poor and needy during the corona crisis.
Jagan now issued a strong warning to the candidates that if the results do not come in their favor they should resign as Rajya Sabha candidates.
