Those who watch national news channels are aware of Republic TV and its managing editor Arnab Goswami. Arnab who started his career with Prannoy Roy’s NDTV later shot to fame with his anchoring in TimesNow. He changed the mode of anchoring by daringly questioning high profile politicians on burning issues in his prime time program ‘The Nation Wants to Know’.
Later after a break, he launched his own channel Republic and from then on been creating sensational ripples at the national level. A couple of days back he organized a debate on Kangana Ranaut’s sensational interview regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide.
In the debate, Kollywood actress Kasturi, who is popular for her role in Kamal Haasan’s Bharateeyudu, for most of the time Kasturi did not get a chance to share her views. At that time when the camera was focussed on her, she was seen eating her lunch. When netizens started praising her confidence, she said she spent more than 60 minutes watching Arnab Goswami in hyper mode and so realizing that she will not get her chance, she decided to have her lunch but forgot to sign off from Skype. She apologized and added she intended no office and disrespect.
