Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi many not have had a dream debut in Bollywood as she was launched opposite Ishaan Khattar in Dhadak, a remake of Marathi hit Sairat. She is now pinning all her hopes on her next Gunjan Saxena-The Kargil Girl.
However, Janhvi’s dreams of breaking box office records with the film were dashed due to corona. The film is now releasing on the popular OTT platform Netflix. In the midst of all this, speaking to scribes, Janhvi came with a stunner about heroism.
She said she is getting offers and respect in Bollywood as she came from a filmi background family. She added that she did not face any difficulties other actresses faced in Bollywood. She said in that way she is very lucky.
Speaking about the differences between heroes and heroines in films, she said directors while narrating a story sometimes concentrate on heroes. She said she thought that they are doing so as heroes play an important role in films. But they got used to that for decades. She added that she couldn’t understand why the makers are highlighting heroism. Janhvi’s comments proved that in Bollywood without background and male domination one can not attain stardom.
