Telangana CM KCR has been ruling the state unopposed for the second consecutive time. After the formation of Telangana, people of the state bestowed power to him as they felt that KCR’s relentless fight for the state forced the Union Government and other parties to give their consent for the formation of Telangana.
After five years, many thought that KCR would face severe anti incumbency wave. Even political analysts and his rival parties hoped the same. However giving shock, KCR came to power with renewed energy in the assembly elections. But when everyone thought that he would repeat the same magic in the loksabha elections, he got a huge shock when BJP won four seats and Congress won four seats. What came as a shock is the defeat of his daughter Kavitha in the Nizamabad loksabha constituency.
But later, TRS revived itself and strengthened its cadre and leadership in the villages. When things are going favourably, TRS leadership and KCR started showing the adamant nature. This turned the cadre in the villages angry over the high command neglecting them.
They are looking for alternative and sources say BJP is emerging as the strong force in the villages in Telangana. Analysts feel that KCR will soon get a shock from its cadre in villages. In North Telangana, TRS became extremely weak and BJP still is going strong in Adilabad, Karimnagar and Nizamabad.
Even in Hyderabad too, people got disillusioned with the way KCR handled covid 19 crisis and many are waiting to teach KCR a shocking lesson.
