Telangana CM KCR has been hell bent on having new secretariat and he proceeded ahead of the demolition of the old secretariat despite huge protests from the political parties and people. However High Court gave the green signal and KCR and the Telangana government is having its way as all the hurdles are cleared for the destruction of the old secretariat and the construction of the new one.
Telangana CM KCR released the design of the new secretariat and has been promoting it has all the world class facilities and will be never seen before the country. In the midst of all this, BJP shocked KCR by saying that the new secretariat design looked like a mosque rather than a secretariat.
Chennai based designers Ponni and Oscar designed the new secretariat building and the Telangana cabinet cleared it. BJP leader Krishna Sagar Rao accused KCR of not consulting any of the opposition parties and went ahead with the design as he is arrogant that the his party has the majority in the assembly.
