Veteran actress, director and producer Vijaya Nirmala passed away this morning at a private hospital in Gachibowli.
Her son, actor Naresh, announced her death on Twitter and revealed that the last rites will be held tomorrow. And for those wanting to pay Vijaya Nirmala their last respects can do so at the family residence in Hyderabad. Tomorrow morning, she will be brought to the Film Chamber for the film industry people to pay their last respects. The last rites will be held tomorrow evening. However, no cause of death was given as Naresh simply wrote that Vijaya Nirmala died of ‘sickness.’
The condolences are pouring in over the sudden demise of Guinness Record holder who appeared in over 200 films in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and directed 44 Telugu films.
