Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi’s career is not taking off as dreamed by her parents. Her debut film Dhadak turned out to be an average grosser while her second film The Kargil Girl, a biopic on IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena is not having the theatrical release.
In the midst of all these reports are coming that Janhvi will be starring in the remake of Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s blockbuster film Ala Vaikunthapuramlo. It is known that plans are on for long to remake the hit film in Hindi and sources say the makers finalized Karthik Aryan to reprise Allu Arjun’s role in the remake.
Janhvi will reprise the role played by Pooja Hegde in the original. Allu Arjun’s dances and Pooja Hegde’s glamor turned Ala Vaikunthapuramlo into a non-Baahubali hit in Telugu. Janhvi’s dad Boney Kapoor is co-producing Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s comeback film Vakeel Saab, a remake of Bollywood hit Pink and is trying his best to launch Janhvi in a stylish and grand manner in Tollywood.
