In a show of protest, Andhra Pradesh Opposition party tried to get into the assembly premises as a procession. In the process, there was a tussle between the Marshals and the TDP legislators and council members.
The assembly rule book says no more than five people can enter the assembly as a group and no placard would be allowed. Going by the rule book the Marshals prevented the entry of legislators and council members with placards into the Assembly.
The version of TDP is that the Marshals manhandled the legislators. To confirm the same the speaker allowed to play the footage in the Assembly. In the footage, it was evident that TDP leaders were rude and pushed aside the marshals to gain entry into the premises.
However, what caught attention was the Chief Minister alleging that Chandra Babu used the word ‘bastards’ against the Marshals. The entire YSRCP group started following the same and demanding an apology from Chandra Babu Naidu to the house and Marshals. However, if the video is closely watched and audio heard carefully, Chandra babu did not use the word ‘bastard’. He was saying ‘No Question’ and it sounded like ‘bastard’.
Looks like YSRCP is close to scoring a self-goal and letting the main topic getting diverted.
