Actor Sundeep Kishan who gave an impressive performance in Deva Katta’s Prasthanam
as an ill-tempered guy has proved as a hero in some movies like Venkatadri Express and Ra Ra Krishnayya.
Though Sundeep Kishan is good at acting and has all the abilities for being a hero, he has been struggling for a hit for a long time.
After a short gap from movies, Sundeep Kishan is coming up with a Pan- Indian movie Michael, an action entertainer.
Varun Sandesh, who faded into oblivion after some super hits donned an important role in the movie.
The addition of Vijay Sethupathi has raised expectations for the movie. Let’s see what the movie is all about.
Story: The story is set in the 1990s. Gurunath (Gautham Menon) is dreaded gangster in Mumbai who gets saved by a young boy Michael (Sundeep Kishan).
Impressed by the kid’s bravery, Gurunath raises the kid and he gets saved once again by Micahel.
Eventually, Michael becomes the most reliable ally and protector of Gurunath.
This doesn’t go well with Gurunath’s son Varun Sandesh and develops hatred and jealous towards Michael.
Gurunath who comes to know about Rathan (Anish Kuruvilla) is the reason behind attack on him orders Michael to kill both Rathan and his daughter Theertha (Divyansha Kaushik).
But, Michael is unable to finish the task. What happened next is the rest of the story.
Verdict: On the whole, Michael is another example of a movie with more style and less substance. The movie reminds of Prabha s’s Munna at times.
The director has laid more focus on technical aspects rather than focusing on story. Overall, another disappointing movie from Sundeep Kishan.
